A central atrium that rises the full height of the building is the focal point of this complex. Creating a “Sense of Place” this dramatic space engenders feelings of pride and belonging for all staff. The gently sweeping curve of the richly detailed building façade greets visitors and creates a gateway at the entrance to the site. A two storey galleria that links all buildings serves as an interior amenity and circulation space, as well as a visitor reception area.
The $43M Canadian Business Centre on AstraZeneca Canada’s head office campus consolidates and expands on-site administrative functions into a five storey 21,000 m² building. The visitor arrival and parking area is an extensively landscaped courtyard with space for 380 cars.
