WZMH a gold sponsor for new architectural studios at Ryerson University
WZMH is one of 68 design and engineering firms that sponsored the new David E. Handley Studios - a space for budding architects at Ryerson University.
Harry Pellow made this happen. The Ryerson alumnus and founder of pellow + associates architects, which merged with WZMH in 2015, said that “only the architectural community is going to help young architects” as he kickstarted the drive for several design and engineering firms to donate to Ryerson University so the Studios could become a reality.
Named for the Senior Vice President of Special Projects at The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, David Handley, who graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Architectural Technology, the state-of-the-art Studios officially opened September 15.
“The David E. Handley Studios will provide our students and faculty with a transformative home base within which to think, study, engage, design, teach, learn, and interact,” says Jurij Leshchyshyn, chair of Architectural Science.
WZMH is proud to be part of Harry Pellow's vision.
