WZMH named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies
The architectural landscape continues to evolve and with it, WZMH Architects: the company has been recognized by the country’s leading business awards program as one of Canada’s Best Managed companies in 2015.
“At WZMH we recognize that the final built form must achieve a balance between the practical and the aesthetic. This recognition highlights our team’s commitment to delivering innovative designs that are supported by solid business acumen,” said Carl Blanchaer, Principal.
Now in its 55th year, WZMH has grown into a global force in architectural design, constantly expanding its horizons by diversifying into multiple sectors and geographic locations.
“WZMH is proud to celebrate our anniversary with this award-winning milestone. We look forward to continuing to design solutions that exceed our client’s expectations for many years to come,” added Blanchaer.
From designing high rise commercial towers, including the CN Tower, to courthouses, data centres, mixed-use business and residential projects in Canada and abroad, WZMH has built its foundation on lasting relationships. A number of these notable relationships include: Oxford Properties, Brookfield Properties, ELAD Canada and Four Seasons. In2015, WZMH merged with pellow + associates, an award-winning architectural firm known for its retail design, further expanding the firm’s diverse portfolio.
The Best Managed Companies competition, sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums, recognizes Canadian owned andmanaged companies with annual sales reaching greater than $10 million that demonstrate continued excellence in innovative management and business performance. This marks the first time the company has been honoured.
