Jacek Szumacher has over 31 years of experience in the Architectural profession. He has worked in Canada and abroad on a number of residential, commercial and institutional projects. Over the course of his career Jacek has been involved in all stages of the architectural profession from urban design, conceptual design through to the final stages of construction. In recent years Jacek has worked as Project Architect for the Centennial Place project in Calgary, Alberta and has for the past two years played the role of Project Manager and Architect on the various extensive upgrades of the Richmond Adelaide Centre in Toronto, including the total renovation of the existing 16-storey office tower at 111 Richmond Street.
Jacek's attention to detail, creative thinking and technical skills ensure that a project’s design intent is reflected in the final product. He has extensive site experience and has the ability to coordinate consultants on very complex projects.
Jacek has a Master of Architecture from Polytechnic Lodz, Poland, and is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects.
