An Associate and Senior Project Manager with the firm, Hany has contributed to the development of a diverse range of building types in Canada and the Middle East including the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo, San Stefano Complex in Alexandria, Astra Zeneca, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi and Macdonald Block Reconstruction. He has actively been involved in all phases of project development, including client liaison, pre-design, design, rezoning and site plan applications, as well as construction documents and contract administration.
Hany joined WZMH in 1997 for 7 years and returned in 2020. Prior to returning, he worked with Adamson Associates Architects in Toronto on a range of building types across the globe including the World Trade Centre Tower 3 (NY), Goldman Sachs Headquarters (UK), 151 North Franklin (Chicago), and 30 Bay St. (Toronto).
Hany holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Helwain University in Cairo and a Project Management Diploma from American University in Cairo. Hany received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Canadian Architectural Certification Board and is an Intern Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects.
