As a Design Principal, Mohammed has worked on significant commercial, hospitality and institutional projects in Canada and abroad. These include Toronto’s 880 Bay Street office tower, York Region’s Administrative Centre Annex in Newmarket, Ontario; and Nation Towers, a mixed use development in Abu Dhabi, ranked as one of the tallest 20 buildings in 2012.
Mohammed strives to improve the human experience in aesthetically pleasing environments designed with sensitivity to user comfort, sustainability and economy of construction. Mohammed’s creativity, attention to detail and functional problem solving skills have made a significant contribution to the many projects with which he has been involved.
Mohammed joined WZMH Architects in 2005. He holds a Master of Architecture (2012) and a Bachelor of Architectural Science (2004) from Ryerson University, Toronto. He won several awards and recognitions such as the OAA Guild Medal in 2012, RAIC Honour Roll in 2012 and the OAA Award for the Highest Academic Achievement in the Master of Architecture Program in 2011. Mohammed was appointed to the position of Principal in 2019.
