Maryam is a Senior Architectural Designer with over 20 years of experience. Her approach to Design is to establish a creative process that yields innovative and inspiring buildings and spaces for the communities they serve. She believes in solutions that support context and the importance of daylight and its effect on spaces as they foster wellbeing and human relationships.  Maryam’s strength lies in her ability to assimilate complex requirements and transform them into catalysts that drive the creative process.

In her role as Senior Designer, Maryam stays with her projects throughout their phases, guiding and developing the design as it progresses. Her recent projects include Abbotsford Law Courts in Abbotsford BC, TR3 Data Centre in downtown Toronto, and Junction East Project, which includes a new Library and Art Gallery for The Greater Sudbury Area.

Maryam holds a Master of Architecture Degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, and is an active member of the Danish Architect Association. She joined WZMH in 2017 as a Senior Architectural Designer and was appointed to the position of Senior Associate Principal in 2022.
