The 1750 Bloor Redevelopment project for Hazelview envisages the insertion of a new 15 storey rental building, amenity centre and sports playing field into an existing community in Mississauga.

The proposed new building will contain 265 new much needed rental units in a range of suite types and sizes. The new amneity building will contain a gym and pool for the benefit of existing and new residents in the complex.

The proposed new buildings are broken into vertical and horizontal elements to provide visual interest and articulate the massing to scale better within the surrounding neoghbourhood context. The result is a more solid, brick base with lighter metal and glass elements above.

The rezoning process involved intensive co-ordination with the City and neighbours to arrive at a design solution acceptable to all.
