For one of the first projects responding to GO Transit’s Design Excellence initiative, WZMH Architects designed both the upgrade and renovation of an existing station as well as a new station building serving a fourth track. A glass canopy with spider connection, matching those of the stations, provides shelter over the paved walkway that connects the building entrance to Atlantic Avenue.

The firm’s architecture and interior design teams also created a new un-manned building with two boiler rooms at each end of the platform that house the ice-melting equipment.
